The Evolution of the Public Lands Podcast

The Public Lands Podcast was started by Mark Pedelty, who teaches a course on public lands at the University of Minnesota. He decided to gift it over if you like to students and now students do most of the production on the podcast as well. The idea is to get students out of the classroom into the field sites where they're going to state parks,. We're in the middle of a urban area. It's pretty easy for them with public transportation, get to these state parks, etc.
