The Dobs Decision and the Unintended Consequences
In staunchly pro life states, women were already being investigated and imprisoned for miscarriages before the dobs ruling. Some adherents to feudal personhood equate the use of i u ds in morning after pills to murder. Anti abortion laws might successfully reduce the number of total legal abortions, at least the documented ones, but they will increase the number of unsafe abortions. And there will now be many more mothers in chrisis pregnancies living in states ill equipped to care for them.
