The Importance of Detachment
Leslie: I think sometimes people are like, that's frivolous, right? Like who has time for a hobby? Leslie does. She can still do a really good job at her job and start thinking about other things that give her joy and give her life meaning that will complement the job. It makes it easier to understand that not all of us are heart surgeons. Some of us have jobs that are more of a means to an end and an end to know of themselves. There's nothing wrong with that. It doesn't make the work any less noble.
