The Tradeoffs of AI

CNN's John Sutter attended a hearing on AI at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. Most of the questions were geared at Sam Altman and he was very open to regulation. He said that if this technology goes wrong, it can go quite wrong. And we want to work with the government to prevent that from happening. It feels incredible that someone who's responsible for a massive movement of emerging tech is coming to these senators and saying: "We want to get regulations that are appropriate for what we're building"
