The Concordance of Decisions Between the FDA and the Advisory Committees
Aaron Carroll: What were the main findings of your study and what if anything surprised you? Carroll: The number of times that the FDA is creating advisory committees or bringing advisory committees together to answer questions has fallen off quite substantially in the last decade. But at the same time, our other main finding is that it appears that there is a lot of concordants between the FDA and the advisory committees.
