The Importance of Reading Acts

The term reading act is not addressed in detail until the sixth chapter, but I wanted to lead with it because having chatted and collaborated with you in the past months, that word emerges as a quite important theoretical definition. So a reading act marks the act of interaction with a text. And we take interaction rather broadly. It is, of course, what we commonly associate as reading. But we also include into this that you may discuss this with a friend. You may share her book with somebody else. That is something that's cool to the cultural revolutionary practices.
