Is a Cocoanut Really a Nut?
Is a cocoanut really a nut, or is it a fruit? And what's the difference? A shell is a hard covering s h e, l, and a single seed, one seed, not multiple seeds. Nuts don't split open to release their seeds when ripe. But hey, if you hear body else calling it a nut, you can call it a nut - even though biologically we may not be accurate.
