The Parallel Structure of Travel
Listen carefully and try to pick out what parallel structure you can hear. Before the pandemic, I spent one month in Thailand and my time in Thailand was a long, relaxing and eye-opening experience. Not only do I prefer traveling by train, but I also enjoy the scenic views it offers. Despite its inconveniences and occasional lateness, trains can be really good. And notice how I just did another parallel structure: not only do I blank, butI also blank. It's kind of saying not only do one thing is true, but another thing is also true.
