Europe is severely dependent on your russian energy supply. So here we have a huge problem as european policy ma s. We did not isolate russia two thousand 14 when they annexd crimea. Instead of isolating the clear aggressor who annexd the territory of a sovereign country, we started in more gas and encouraging him for the next step. Yes, it's painful, yes it hurts to impose sanctions. But we are in a war. We don't want to engage the bully. Then we isolate the bully. I don't see the truth.
