The Progression of PPROM
A fertilized egg implants outside of the uterus presents an immediate danger to the woman's life. There's no doubt that that fetus is not going to make it, because it cannot make a term outside of the womb. That is a clear-cut case. My impression is that the vast majority of doctors and hospitals are in agreement that qualifies under the medical exceptions. But PPROM is a much harder case for a couple of reasons.
