The Starless Night Sky

It's difficult to know exactly how long it took to traverse this passageway, but it wouldn't be a stretch to say the better part of the night. Every now and then you hear a pop nearby like some kind of bubble bursting. A muddy bubble bursts from the ground below you all filling the air with a sickening stench. The ground shifts and you feel the foul dirt swallow you into the earth. What? This is stinking fire. Casp!
