The Importance of LSD in the Cold War

LSD was used on both sides of this Cold War, says Peter Bergen. The idea of microdosing is sort of thought of as a contemporary idea that someone came up with in the 21st century - but it's from Palo Alto at the very beginning. At the same time, you have studies going on at the Veterans Hospital on Stanford campus about what happens if we give people LSD to interrogate them better. So again, all I can see is this Cold War is this global struggle and it's a hot war, right?
