The Trump Administration's Interest in Deregulation

Sugar is an additive, just like alcohol. FDA requires it to be labeled on the nutritional facts label. Grocery Manufacturers Association has lobbied current Trump administration to delay advent of that new nutrition facts label by three years. So there's a good chance we will never see added sugar on the label.
