The Mistake in the Marriage of Antony and Octavia
When both men were agreed, they went up to Rome and celebrated Octavia's marriage. The law did not permit a woman to marry before her husband had been dead ten months. One scholar of Plutarch thinks that the child that Octavia was pregnant with when she married Antony is not actually the younger Claudia Marcella. She must have miscarried because she gets pregnant very quickly by Antony.
