The Loss of Teachers in the First Five Years of Their Career
The Oakland Teachers Union reached a deal that would increase their pay. I think it's going to help but teaching has in the first five years a pretty high turnover rate. It really is trying to minimize teachers who wash out because they don't get enough support and they're frustrated. Providing them housing is now a big hot thing to get them to stay.
