What Is a Poem About?

Poem is about the need for a dramatic end to an event. The speaker of this poem, it may be nelad, has been experiencing reality. And i think he reaches for for poetry to get him out of the horror. It's sodden regular metre and rhyme are there to suggest some sort of fakery going on. I haven't dug deep into the biography of nick laird to find if he had any ambulance based incidents. Or alternatively, if nothing much happens, you can always make up your own incident.
