What's the Difference Between Socialism and Capitalism?

i don't think most americans are given a fair representation of the criticisms karlmark had of capitalism. 20 years ago, if you walked down that very same street and you talked to the people, then you'd be much more likely to find people that won't even entertain the idea of socialism or communism. But something's changed in these last 20 to 30 years, hasn't it? I mean, just look at these numbers. Gallop just came out with a pull a few days ago, 35 % of America view socialism in a positive light. That's a far cry from the way that things were not too long ago, right? So what changed?
