Lerna is what was probly the first work space manager. In certain types of monoripos, you don't even need versions. A change sets has a git up action and also a get up bot that will automatically set up for you. So i've been leaning towards folks to do it 100 per cent automated. We might now add it to turbo but not right away. You can still keep learner around by keeping publishing tasks in lerna. And again, desimeting to be incimetaly if you want your own version control system.
