Pfizer conspired with a medical consulting company to get nurontin approved for treating neuropathic pain. The FDA had told them their data was so bad they wouldn't even allow them to file an application for broadening the indication. Pfizer's own consultants said to them, and this is a direct quote, you're done. You're done. And then they hired this medical communications company to help them write an article that would show it work. Oh my name did. It was published.
