The Father of Espresso

Angela Moriondo invented a machine in the 1880s to make coffee faster. The steam it creates would push hot water through half a kilo of ground coffee. And when someone orders a coffee, you just decant it into a cup. But how good was this machine? It's got these gnarly metal bits and pieces hanging off from the side. As an espresso machine, this thing is terrible but as far as our moustachered Moriondo is concerned, it fixed his speed problem.
