How to Write a Shitty First Draft
The Harvard psychologist Dan Gilbert says that if you're going to speak, your first draft should be spoken, not written. The most common way to sweep is to take pieces of paper and just each idea you have in your head gets its own individual piece of paper. And so I try to do that once a week; it's like gold standard recommended. You want to have a second brain where you store everything. Everything is putting your mind in the correct state, so you're ready to optimize whatever you are going to do.
