The two questions i find most useful are, how ambitious are you? and what are the open braser tabs on your computer right now. Everyone is thrown off base by that but it's hard for them to fake ambition if they don't have it. I don't know what the weirdest question i've been asked for, the number of tabs i have opend are in the hundreds. The book is a good example. My ambition is to do the best of what was possible. And that has continuously kind of shifted.

Fighting fires meant a lot of downtime for Matthew Ball. Stationed at a forward operating base in the woods for two weeks at a time, he spent long hours amongst fellow firefighters with whom he shared little in common except for their love of the outdoors.
