The Natural Process of Speaking Language
I think the natural process of speaking language largely isn't creative, because the way to say whatever you want to say is already set in stone. You have to master all the rules before you can break them. And so it's a similar thing where first just try to speak like a boring native speaker perfectly, then you can try to get creative. If you can't even speak like a bored native speaker, it's not the time to be getting creative. Right. So you've got this like, yeah, really strange level and I did this for Russian and it was really terrible. After an hour of a tutoring session, my brain was just dead, like I couldn't use it
