The Importance of Residual Income
In 2007 the WGA was looking at DVD royalties and how they were getting shafted. We're approaching something so so similar but in a very different way. The model that our industry was created on is called a residual model. So when NBC started selling DVD copies of say Law and Order this is no shade on NBC this is just networks in general starting to sell DVD copies of their shows. spoiler alert the networks made buco, big o, presto changeo, excellente, mucho money.
