The Current State of Lithium Metal
The process to make lithium metal has not changed in a long time It's high temperature electrolysis so you have a whole bunch of conflicting problems together. There is an absence of even available feedstock to make this with along with the absence of new technology. So we're able to take low concentrations of lithium and it's a game-changer because we're actually bypassing any sulfate any carbonate or any hydroxide production by just going to the brine. We got a little lucky which just generally doesn't happen in science.
