I noticed athletes who tend to have a lot of lower body dysfunction and knee pain if I put them in a split squat, for example. It's like the soleus, I guess you'd say isn't really controlling that back foot. Gary: Do you think it's like a chicken or the egg thing in the sense of the soleus maybe shuts off over time because the boot mechanics just aren't good? The athlete isn't has poor foot sensation and just lets the heel drop and the knee just goes over.
