Yufi is a home assistant that claims to be local and encrypted. A security researcher posted on Twitter that they've seen data being uploaded from their camera to give you servers. Yufi claims it's for notification purposes, which kind of makes sense. But then some other things started happening, like you could open streams directly in VLC.
