In your previous book, you argued that empathy is a bad basis for making moral decisions. Can you talk a little bit about that idea? Some people use the term ampathy to mean understanding other people and i'm in favour of that. But there's a sense which a lot of psychologists use it,  which is feeling the pain of another persond. I argue that this is a horrible moral guide. And fortunately, i argue, we have other moral resources. We have compassion, we have love, and we have rationality.
