Are Women Equal Access to Senior Mentors a Good Measure of Progress?
In your talk, you mentioned that opportunities for women increased over the last 50 years. However, progress has stalled in the last decade. One of the things that would look like progress would be women having equal access to senior mentors. So we see that when women are employees of color are paired with more senior mentors, they do accelerate faster in their career and they are promoted faster.
