Susan Davis has done what all of us wish we could do and put together a really impressive pharmacist driven transitions of care model for antibiotic prescribing at discharge that is truly incredible so hats off to her and her study team this was an extraordinarily an extraordinary lift. They found just an incredible improvement in optimal antibiotic prescriptions at discharge so 81.5 percent in the post group compared to 36 percent in the pre-group. Where they saw the most bang for their buck was primarily with durations of therapy specifically with pulmonary infections making sure patients are only getting that three to five days of therapy for cap.
