"I feel like teachers are just super undervalued. If I could wave a magic wand and try to make the world a better place, one of the things I would do would be like, cool, teachers all make quarter million dollars basement yearly," she says. "Mr. Korman was sort of an expansion of that thought experiment ... what if I hadn't been lucky to the point of finding my life partner?" She also writes, produce and star in a movie where you play a school teacher.
