Ben: Finland has been the poster child of education basically since the OECD first released their pizza results in 2000 where they're pretty much up the top. Ben: But what's important to note is that since the mid 2000s I so at least this is just looking at the pizza saw score so 2006 pizza scores we've seen a significant decline in pizza in Finland's performance. The country was convinced that we no longer learn in subjects that doesn't but obviously that doesn't work subject matter and knowledge is in fact quite important now, he says.
