Is Portfolio Allocation a Good Idea?
Is it how you define the money or is it just overall not really a great idea in your opinion? Well, I think both. The research is pretty clear. It is very, very difficult to outperform the market picking individual stocks. And so you might be the exception, but you are probably setting yourself over time to underperform. But on the other hand, I mean, I've been where you are. So I understand when I hear the arguments for picking individual stocks and what they stand for.
