The Interwar Period: Indians and Muslims in Japan

An Indian named Muhammad Fazli, who traveled to Japan to teach at a Tokyo guy, Daikoko Gokko. He's one of my most fascinating informants because he is an educated, literate, an Indian scholar. And crucially, he goes to Japan to teaching the Japanese, Persian and Uddudu in interwar period. So it's like, wow, here we are. Now, finally, someone who is really involved on the spot with not just inter-Asian exchange at some level, but of sharing different Asian languages.
