The Islamic World and the Berka

Most people think about the sequestration of women or male dress coats as being rooted in the moslem religion. They consider something like honor killing, where a girl is killed by her family members because of some real or imagined, unapproved sexual relationship, to be about the Moslem religion. But all of these things existed before islam ever came aroundy the prophet mohammed didn't invent the burka. These behaviors existed before it came around. It's not a justification to say that something has a purpose. The classical greeks actually seem have taken that lesson from the iliad, by the way. I don't know how the enlightened greeks get off the hook
