We need a focus on foods that tell our brain, you're good. And we don't have to wait until our stomach is bursting to get there. Brain knows we are satisfied. We know from human studies that when insolent is spiked due to consuming refined carbohydrates, that satiety signal is weaker. When insolent is not spiked, like, for example, by focusing on proteins, and then sotiety is stronger. The sotiety signal is more prevalent, and thus hunger is controlled longer.
