The Cost of Justice Matters
The practice of leaving in a state entirely to the eldest son is something that most of us today would consider unjust to the other children. Primogenitor relied on family ties and a sense of duty to guide the eldest son in looking out for his younger siblings. This subject reminds me of a passage from Seoul's The Quest for Cosmic Justice about the concept of primogenitor. It simply says that the costs of achieving justice matter. Another way of saying the same thing is that justice at all costs is not justice.
