Relationships With Non-Christians - How Can Uncertainty Be Better Than Certainty?
If I've got all the answers, then my Muslim neighbor or Buddhist neighbor is really just now an object of my evangelistic efforts. That's the only role that person plays as far as our relationship goes. But if I think, well, I might not know everything, then I can have conversations in which I actually seek to learn about that other person's tradition. And in my own experience, whenever that happens, I always find some commonality, some truth that I had never before noticed, even in my own tradition.
