What Are Covenants?

A covenant is really something that sets out a relation and binds two, two people or two groups together. Most members of the church will say, it's a two ay promise, and that's where they stop. And they don't understand this relationship that you just describe so beautifully. In the scriptures, you will often find covenants as they are administered, where names are given. The hebrew word fore covenant, bret, has connotations of binding with it. That cognates in an acadian are are the word for fetter, to tie your arms together,. To bind you up, almost as if it were a grip.
