For the most part I think a decent default is starting with bilateral multi joint movements and then moving on to unilateral and then finally single joint movements but if there is a particular unilateral movement that matters way way more to you for whatever reason do it first. As long as you are ultimately doing enough hard sets and adequately fatiguing the target muscles feel probably be fine. John Meadows back in the day was to do not like super super hard but like just do some leg curls before you squat he said that that anecdotally just made his knees feel a lot better and just helped squats feel nicerI gave it a shot I actually really liked it I did.
