The Common Accepted Viewpoint in the Django Community

The Django community has defined contributor as only people who have written code or maybe docs. The keynote for Django Con Europe was a Tom Kirby, the Django software foundations vice president. He stood on a stage in front of a bunch of Django people and said that he had never contributed to Django. And so like you say, oh, they're not contributors. That's ridiculous.
