Do We Really Need a Distributed Review System?

There are a few domains in which we all know that we want to rely on other people's reviews. If you offer folks even the smallest piece of information about a future event, they will take that over all the Yelp reviews. The problem is something we call the illusion of diversity. We're basically all the same.
