Homeschooling - How to Write a Learning Journal Page

Students just beginning to work with learning journals may feel that they don't know what to write. This is normal, especially if they're coming from a textbook, quiz, answer-key type of background. The learning journal changes the learning question from what does the teacher or the text expect me to say to what is important or interesting about this subject person or story. There's more freedom in the learning journal process but it also requires a more investigative and creative thought process than textbook and workbook study.
