The Man's Shadow, or His Lack of Shadow
Back home, there was a popular story people knew. For the man to debute a tale about the same topic would just be a bad look all around. No, he couldn't risk being unoriginal. Despite the sun blaring overhead, hed chuckled at first, recalling the antics from the night before. Then he' belly laughed at the realization that there it was, the idea for his next piece, the missing shadow. It was brilliant. But then it wasn't. Rather, it was gone.
