Is There a Disconnect Between Natural Immunity and Public Health Reality?

I just feel increased confusion, in despondency every time i look at the news. There is this great divorce between public health reality and how political manoeuvrings are dealing with that reality. It's a set of circumstances that is either accidentally or but by design, very apathy inducing. I don't know where all dug once to go, but, you know, looking at what's happening in australia in particular this week has caused me great despair,. But even if we just started with that kind of public policy disconnect - it's unlike anything i've ever witnessed before.
