The Battle of Dunkirk
Removing British troops from France is actually a victory condition for the Germans. 30, 40 allied divisions knocked out of the order of battle and other 17 badly moored. The terrain around there when you look at it is in no way suited to armour. From whichever direction you come east, west or south against the Dunkirk perimeter you go across five or six canals. It was never a realistic prospect.
