The Church Is Jesus's Church

A lot of people have misinterpreted this parable as if it is about God rejecting Israel and now choosing Gentiles. The vineyard doesn't change, right? It's the tenants who change. What the parable is about is that Jesus is going to establish new leaders. And we know who those people are: His disciples. They're the ones Jesus gives the keys of the kingdom to - which is a priestly image.
