Is There a Risk When You're Playing in the WBC?

There's always going to be that concern with a tournament that takes place at this time of year. There isn't really a better time of year, you know, like if you were to do it after the season,. A lot of players wouldn't participate then either. It seems like the strategy more and more is just like pitch less, pitch fewer innings. But I guess when good players don't play particularly good pitchers...it saps my enthusiasm for the tournament.
