The b to variant now make about 70 % of sequenced infections in the us. At that proportion, european countries saw their case loads go up. But it's hard to know if something similar will play out here. Our experience of the exact same variant is not going to be exactly the same. There are things that could make our wave worse than what's been seen in europe and there are things that can make it better.
