Cause i'm glad he was a coward in that moment, because the world is better with him in it. I mean, there's good reason to believe those people thought they'd be eternally warded,. In which case it wouldn't just be cowardly as it would be stupid of them to hold out. But i still think it takes a certain level of courage to willingly walk into your own death. Yes.
